Joseph is 6

On April 23rd Joseph turned 6 years old!
He wanted a Star Wars birthday party...

His cake was decorated by Nate.

Here is Eveyln, Brooke, Joseph and Tyler.

Brooke and Spencer gave him this cool guy with little men that fit inside.

Evelyn and Freddie gave him a staff from the movie Kung Fu Panda.

Tyler and Natalie gave him this cool inflatable dart board that you shoot Nerf darts at.

Joseph loves the colors blue and black so we decorated the room with black and blue streamers.

Here are the kids eating their "Force fortified food." We served Jedi nuggets, Obi-Mac-Aroni, and fruit sabers with the choice of Yoda soda or Darth soda to drink.

After eating the kids headed outside to clean up the asteroids that had fallen in our backyard!

I thought the Darth Vader pinata we found looked great!

And the kids had fun picking up the candy!

This is Allison Dansie, she is in our ward and also in Joseph's Kindergarten class. Allison gave Joseph this giant coloring pad.

Erika is another girl from his Kindergarten class who came. She gave Joseph this Lego Star Wars set. Joseph loves Legos!

Isaac got to give Joseph the Ben Ten Wii game the family got for his birthday. (It was the one thing he asked for.)

Kate gave Joseph this fun sticker book.

Singing to the cake!

Eli enjoyed the party too!

My Twins!

One day the boys wanted to wear the same outfit to school. We had to take a picture to document it.

Easter Sunday

Our four beautiful children on Easter morning.
Don't they look nice in their new Easter clothes?

Pretty Kate with her My little Pony activity pad

Eli's basket was hidden in his favorite cupboard!

Kate and Joseph showing off their baskets.

Isaac was the last to find his basket. The kids were discussing how the Easter bunny got it up there.

We had a nice Easter and are so grateful for the Savior, Jesus Christ.

I love to see the temple!

We are excited for the completion of the new Oquirrh Mountain temple!

We got the idea from our Bishop to take our family over to the site and take pictures in front of it. We found a cool rock that the kids sat on and posed for pictures. We also picked a tree to stand by.
We hope to go back in the future and take more pictures by "our rock" and "our tree" so we can compare how our children and family have grown.

Families CAN be together forever!

April Fools!

For April Fools day I had fun trying to think of some tricks to play on my family.

This is how I set the table for dinner that night.

Unfortunately, my kids were not willing to play along, and were not very good sports...

Joseph refused to eat anything I put before him.

Kate wouldn't either.

Here is the meatloaf cake I made for dinner. It's covered in mashed potato frosting and garnished with cherry tomatoes on top.

Here is a peek to how it looked inside. The kids LOVE meatloaf but wouldn't touch this kind!

This was our dirt and worm pie for dessert!

I also served "juice" which was really water with red food coloring and served "water" which was really invisible kool-aid. I had fun playing pranks even if my kids didn't enjoy it!?

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick's Day was fun at our house...

Here is Isaac sporting his green Leprechaun hat

Joseph wearing his green sticker like a medal.

Kate with her pretty smile.

And Eli too close to the camera!

For breakfast we had green milk with our cereal and then for dinner we ate corned beef with cabbage, green mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, green jello and green lemonade! It was really yummy!
