July 3rd Fireworks at Granite High

As is tradition, we converged on the field at Granite High with the rest of the Bentley's for South Salt Lake's Freedom Fest on July 3rd. As usual, the entertainment and fireworks did not disappoint.

Eli enjoyed chilling out in the shade that the stroller provided.

Kate loved dancing to the music and eating popsicles, as her shirt attests...

Isaac kept rolling himself up in the blankets that we brought to lay out on the grass.

Joseph enjoying a moment with Grandma Bentley.

Crash Pontiac and the Hubcaps performing. Rebecca's sister Elaine and her husband Craig perform with the band. (They are on the left side of the picture)

I tried to capture a bit of the fireworks, just to see how they'd turn out.

Then I wanted to capture a bit of Eli's reaction to his first fireworks show.

We're planning on going to see Wall-E today and then buying some fireworks to set off tonight. Isaac and Joseph have been begging me for the last week to go get some fireworks. Have a happy 4th of July!

See how I've grown!

I wanted to show how much Eli has grown. In these pictures he is wearing the same shirt so you can see how well he fills it out now.

Here he is at one month old.

Such a cute smile.

Now I'm 4 1/2 months old.

I love his smile in this one. Look at those cheeks!

We love you Eli!

Our Trip to Sun Valley!

We took the kids up to Sun Valley, Idaho for our family vacation this year. They were pretty good riding in the car and loved swimming in the hotel's heated pool. Sinclair owns Sun Valley so they paid for our food and activities while were were up there.

The kids in our nice hotel room(s). We had three bedrooms all hooked together in our apartment suite!

The kids and me next to a cool airplane at the Hill Aerospace museum! (We stopped there on our way up to Idaho.)

Nate and the kids by an old Air Force One airplane.

Here's Eli enjoying hotel life!

Eli liked being carried around like this while walking around Sun Valley.

The mountains were beautiful up there!

Here are "the 4 boys" taking a walk!

Here's Kate at the beginning of our walk...

And here is Kate at the end of our walk!

Nate swimming with Kate on his back!

Rebecca and the 4 water babies!

What a pretty dolly!

The boys being silly with the shower caps they found!

We had a great time, but were glad to come back home. Thanks Daddy for having such a great job!
